The Easycover.com service was launched in late 1995, initially under the name Carquote.co.uk.
Surprisingly at that time it was not created by an insurance company or broker, rather by a small team of internet marketing specialists who where first to have the idea of using computer technology to save people time when shopping around for car insurance quotes.
A decade later Easy Cover is still offering an insurance quote comparison website comparing a much broader range of insurance partners and is taking advantage of new technology allows them to provide more detailed quotes.
